Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 285:
Navoe (irrig Nauore (Bt, Bg, Ve)); j. Eggenthal - hieß noch a. 1004 Nawue, und 1150 bestand noch Nawe neben dem Dorf Eggenthal (Baumann, Allgäu I S. 287). In Eggenthal und in Rohrwang wurden Meilensteine gefunden: 40, 41, 42 und 43 mp ab Aug. (CIL III 5992. 5993). 24. Dazwischen, bzw. anderer Weg von Camboduno im It 237 nach Aug. Vind.: Rostro Nemaviae - ab Aug. 25, bis Campodunum 32 -; j. Buchloe a. Genach (=Nemavia?); die Ausbiegung des Flusses mag den Namen veranlaßt haben.
