Commentary on the Toponym:	Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 341: Nueriola, Nucerula (Ra), Nuceria (Gu); j. am Fluß Acerone. 1 Meilenstein, j. in Benevent, zeigt die Entfernung 172 a.u. an (CIL IX 6072), 8 a Benevento. Datierung (Barrington): *Nuceriola – Roman?/Late Antique (ItMiller 341) RE: Nuceriola Station an der Via Appia im Binnenland der Hirpiner, heute Pastena (308m), nach den Itineraren 4 mp. vor Aeclanum. Die Station gehörte zum Gebiet von Benevent, denn es hatte ein Heiligtum der Beventer. Tab. Peut. (Nueriola). Geog. Rav. IV 33 (Nucerulas); Guido (Nuceria), dazu CIL IX p. 190. [Hans Philipp]
