Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): -> stretch to Ad Ficum The distance figure follows the chicane, at the start of the next stretch. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 944: Mopti. Municipium, Mopta, Mocta, Mazota (auct. ant.). Bischöfe werden genannt: a. 411. 419. 484; j. El Uarcha mit Ruinen. 27; im it sind Ad Ficum und Basilicam verstellt mit denselben Zahlen. Datierung (Barrington): Mopth(i?) – Roman/Late Antique (Galand 1949) RE: Mopti (K) Stadt in Mauretania Sitifensis (530,42 lies: S. 251 zum Art.") S VI Windberg. Mopti, (Miller, Itin. Rom. 890. 910. 944) lag in der Chaine des Babor im zerklüfteten Tell-Gebirge, etwa 50 km von der Mittelmeerküste entfernt, zwischen Igilgili (Djedjelli) und Sitifis.
