Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): The symbol for Soloae seems almost an afterthought, with the name placed more in relation to the route than to the symbol. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 828-29: Soloae, Soloe (Ra), Σόλοι(Aesch, Hd, St, Pt), Hafenstadt an einem kleinen Flusse (St), mit einem Bergwerke (Galen). Vielleicht ist hier die col. Arsinoe gemeint (nach Ra zu schließen) und Soloe nur eine Station zwischen Arsinoe und Lapheton; j. Ruinen Soli bei Pandaia. [N. a. Palaeokhora pr. Levka, liegt 10 km östlich davon.] Soloae, s. o. j.
