Only the distance figure XVIII is written on the route linework. It is immediately followed by Vetonianis XII on the same stretch with no break marked; the name Biricianis is written above XVIII. This clumsiness is puzzling; with rather more careful preparation it would have been feasible to present the Biricianis stretch in the regular way. For what may be comparable attempts to remedy oversights, see the Marinianio (3A4, with note under Blaboriciaco) and Svrontio (3A5) stretches.
