Commentary on the Toponym:	[PK: Distanzangabe nach Fossis Papirianis ist vorhanden, der Verbindungsstrich fehlt jedoch]. Kommentar (Talbert): The symbol is unfinished. Note the similar one below in Africa, 3C1. -> stretch to Fossis papirianis: The linework for this stretch is not marked. It is a challenge for the mapmaker to fit a distance figure, a long name and a second distance figure in the very restricted space between the symbols for Adtaberna Frigida and Pisis, not to mention the river course before the latter. Although he accomplishes this feat deftly, and even seems to leave room for route linework, the copyist evidently declines to add it; he could barely have made a chicane. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 240: Ad taberna. frigida (Irrig srigida (Kt)), Tuverna und Taverna frigida (Ra), Taberna frigida und strigida (Gu); j. am Fluß Frigido bei Massa ferrata. Dazwischen liegt Foro Clodi, Strecke 45; j. Pietra Santa - wo die via Clodia abzweigt; auf der Ta gehen die beiden Straßen schon in Lunae auseinander. 12. Der Verbindungsstrich fehlt bis Pisis. In Lago die Porta wurde 1 Meilenstein gefunden mit der Entfernung 118: CIL XI 6665a - a Plac. gerechnet, deshalb interessant und wichtig. Datierung (Barrington): Taberna Frigida – Late Antique (De Santis Alvisi 1977, 4) DNP: Taberna [2] T. Frigida Straßenstation in Etruria an der Via Aemilia Scauri zw. Pisae und Luna am Übergang über den Frigidus (h. Frigido), h. S. Leonardo in Frigido. Uggeri, Giovanni; Ü:H.D. RE: Taberna frigida, Station der Via Aemilia in Etrurien zwischen Luna und Pisa am Fluß Frigido, wo die Tab. Peut. und der Geogr. Rav. IV 32.
