Commentary on the Toponym:	Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 554: 14. Ponte Aluti^1 [1: Irrig -alitti (Sch, Pd, Kt).], Aluti (Ra); j. bei Jonesti [nach Brost. j. Kolini]. Bis hierher war die Straße auf dem rechten Ufer, flußaufwärts ist sie auf dem linken Ufer des Oltu. 13. Kommentar (RE): https://elexikon.ch/RE/XXI,2_2461.png Datierung (Barrington): Pons Aluti - Roman (Cătăniciu 1981, 26). DNP: Pons [6] P. Aluti Röm. Militärstation mit Zivilsiedlung in Dacia Inferior am rechten Ufer des Alutus (h. Olt), wohl beim h. Ioneştii Govorii (Kreis Vîlcea/Rumänien) zu lokalisieren. Im Lager war die cohors III Gallorum stationiert. Die Zivilsiedlung entfaltete sich um das Lager; sie wurde später von Dakoi übersiedelt. Neben Keramik- und Ziegelfunden ist ein Schatz von 152 Mz. aus dem 3. Jh. n. Chr. (Caracalla und Philippus Arabs) von bes. Bed. Burian, Jan (Prag)
