Commentary on the Toponym:	Überlegung: Kommt man von Ad Rotas auf Quadrata? Adrotas (Qu)adrata Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 227: Quadrata (Irrig Oudrata (Bg, Ve)), Quadratam (Ra), [zu unterscheiden von Quadrata municipium (Ra, It, Hi) zwischen Turin und Cutias]; j. St. Colombano, wenige Kilometer südlich von Lambrum. Einzuschalten: Olonna (Paul Diac); j. Corteolano, liegt seitlich. 7. Datierung (Barrington): Quadrata – Roman/Late Antique (ItMiller 458; RE 1) [PK: Die Millerspaltenangabe kann nicht richtig sein, es muss 227 stehen] RE: Quadrata [1] Station an der Straße von Ticinum nach Placentia, die nur Tab. Peut. 4,2 und beim Geogr. Rav. erwähnt wird. Nach Tab. Peut. liegt sie zwischen Lambrum und Ad Padum (7 mp), was wegen des inzwischen längst veränderten Laufes des Po nicht nachprüfbar ist. Miller Itin. Rom. 227 identifiziert Qu. Mit S. Colombano südlich von Graffignano am Labro, was nur als sehr unsicher angesehen werden kann. [Gerhard Radke]
