Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): The repetition of the Noreia XIII stretch is strange. Since it seems an integral part of the layout, possibly this was a slip made by the mapmaker rather than by a later copyist. Perhaps the coincidence that hereabouts, on this route and on the one below it between Graviacis and Matvcaio, as many as seven names all have the distance figure XIII or XIIII may somehow have contributed to the confusion. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 450: [Noreia, zum 2. Male.] Das 2. Noreia XIII ist zu streichen, es ist für dasselbe kein Platz. Ein Plus von 2 mp wäre erwünscht, mehr ist nicht unterzubringen. Dazischen ist: 1. j. Einöddorf mit römischen Altertümern. ISss: CIL III 5043-5049. Ferner 2. j. Friesach; bei Edrisi Hauptstadt von Kärnten: Afrisar; alte mauernumgebene Stadt, von verfallenen Burgen umgeben - Geiersburg, Lavant, Petersberg -, mit römischen Altertümern und Iss: CIL III 5036-5038. (5039. 5042). 5045 (cf. 11622)- 11639 (cf. p. 2328(198)). 13. Bei Zwischenwässern wurde 1 Meilenstein gefunden mit Entfernung 15 a Viruno (CIL III 5728); mit derselben Entfernung 1 solcher in Krumfelden bei Treibach (ib. 5730).
