Commentary on the Toponym:	PK: Verbindungsstrich nach Tibori fehlt Talbert: (no distance figure) Tibori One stretch is drawn as two. The linework for this stretch is not marked. In view of the name attached to the route, it seems most likely that a continuation to Tibari has been omitted through a copyist`s oversight. The slip would be all too easy to make once the map was being copied onto parchments of the present size, when this link would coincide with an edge. River crossing: (river, no. 26D) Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 321: Ad aquas Albvlas, Aquas Albulas (Ra); von Kaiser Augustus benützt (Suet); zum Trinken und Baden geeignet, sehr heilsam (St), von Martial beschrieben; j. Bagni; mit Schwefelquellen, deren Geruch weithin bemerkbar ist, jetzt Eisenbahnstation; stark besuchtes Bad. Reste der alten Thermengebäude. Säulen von Verde antico, j. in S. Maria Maggiore. Iss: CIL XIV 3908 bis 3918. -, fehlt, 4 (nach It). Über den Ponte Lucano (23 km) führt die Via Constantiana - deren antikes Pflaster zuweilen noch erkennbar - direkt nach Tivoli und durchschneidet die Villa des Mäcenas. Peut. 16 mp. von Rom, doch ist [296] die Ziffer zu hoch), welche schon im Altertum wegen ihrer Heilkräfte besonders gegen Wunden (Plin. XXXI 10.
