Kommentar (Köhner):
Wie Talbert bereits bemerkt hat, handelt es sich hier um den verderbten Rest der Flussbezeichnung, interessanterweise in schwarz, nicht in rot. Möglicherweise ist in einer Vorstufe das "Fl?" aufgrund von Platzmangel ausgefallen, wodurch es vom Kopisten nicht mehr als Flussname, sondern als Station interpretiert wurde.
Das im Itinerar überlieferte "Martha (291,3)" bezieht sich auf die weiter unten aufgeführte Station Marta Fluvius

Es handelt sich vermutlich um die Brücke oder die Straßenstation an der Brücke über den [Fl. Marta]

Die angegebene Distanzangabe VIIII bezieht sich damit auf die Strecke Tuscana - Blera.

Überprüfung mithilfe der Distanz zwischen Tuscana und Blera im Realen.

Weiterer Grund:
Tuscana und Blera werden beide beim Ravennaten aufgeführt, Marta hier nicht, meiner Meinung nach ist das die verkümmerte Flussnamenform, schlecht kopiert.

MARTA is written in black ink and not preceded by "Fl." In all other respects, however, it is most naturally taken as a name for river #41. Quite possibly the station where this route crosses lacked a distinctive name, and so one of the two came to be omitted. Alternatively, since each would most naturally be placed at the same spot in this instance, it is conceivable that the mapmaker even intended the one name to serve both functions. He may do the same with Safe Fl. (5B3) and Silarvm Fl. (5B5). Note a station named Marta Fl. on the route below.

a. Stazione stradale sulla Via Claudia tra Blera e Tuscana a VIIII mp. da Blera (forse per XIIII?) mentre la distanza da Tuscana (vicinissima al fiume Marta) non è indicata. Assente in Rav. e in Guido (solo il fiume?). Collocata presso la confluenza del Marta con il Fossaccio, nei pressi di Tuscania, ed esattamente all`incrocio con la strada da Tuscana per Tarquinii (muri in opera quadrata e area di frammenti fittili).
