Commentary on the Toponym:	Kommentar (Talbert): -> stretch to Z[.]gaza[.]na ItMiller 892 suggests that psidio and Digdida may be identical (or at least garrison and town adjacent), but this is not what the map represents. Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 892: Praesidio, wahrscheinlich mit Digdida identisch, Stadt und Garnison einander nahe; j. Ichudia (auf einem Hügel). Dazwischen 12 von Digdida. Dictionary of Roman and Greek Geography: PRAESI´DIUM a military post on the Greater Syrtis, between Tagulae or Tugulae (Kasr-el-Atech) and Ad Turrem. (Peut. Tab.) The result of Barth`s (Wanderungen, pp. 372--377) laborious researches upon the ancient topography of the Great Syrtis, is to place this station at Jehudîa, where there are remains of antiquity.
