There is no "r", and the "a" is written above the "g" to save space.
-> stretch to Macomadase l(orvm)
One stretch is drawn as two.
The route linework under Pvtea could have been continued under "nig", but this would have meant taking it through the downstroke of "g"; so an extra chicane was introduced.
