Commentary on the Toponym:	Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 212f.: Ad pirum Filumeni, Ad Pirum (It); j. bei Monterado am Fluß Cesano, östlich von Mondavio. Von hier im It 316 Abzweigung nach Helvillo: Von Ad Pirum bis Ad Calem 8, von da bis Helvillo 14 m (It). Sowohl diese als insbesondere die Gesamtentfernungszahl L von Helvillo nach Ancona (It 215) sind unmöglich; es sind von Helvillo über Calem, Senegallia nach Ancona mindestens 68-70 mp; es sind nach Pirum vielleicht zu ergänzen: --- 8; j. Castelleone di Saafa. Dazwischen wurde in Corinaldo 1 Meilenstein gefunden mit Entfernungszahl 184 (a.u.). I: CIL XI 6631. --- 8; j. Pergola. Ad Calem (Calle vicus) 12 + Ad Ensem 14 + Helvillo 10 = alle Strecke 50. 8 (Fußnote: Irrig 7 (Sch, Pd, Kt)), it. (It). Datierung (Barrington): Ad Pirum (Filumeni) – Late Antique (Lo Schiavo 1991, 24-27) RE: Pirum, ad [4] Itin. Ant. 316 (Tab. Peut. hat den Zusatz F(=Ph)ilumeni. Dies wird der Begründer der dortigen Taberna sein), Station an der Straße von Fanum Fortunae am Adriatischen Meere (Fano) nach Sena Gallica, 8 Milien davon entfernt. Sie lag, demnach am Flusse Cesano, östlich von Mondolfo, nicht Modavio, wie Miller Itineraria Romana 212 irrtümlich sagt. Nach dem Itin. Ant. mündete hier eine Straße von Helvillum über ad Calem; doch sind die angegebenen Entfernungen unmöglich; s. Miller a.O. Nissen It. Ldk. II 392, 3. Bormann CIL XI p. 997.
