Die Entfernungsangabe XXIIII bezieht sich meiner Ansicht nach auf eine der nächsten Stationen auf der Route nach Alexandria, beziffert also die Distanz nach Chereu oder Alexandria selbst (vgl. ItAnt 154,4: Chereu; 154, 5: Alexandriam). - Vgl. zu Melcati· und zu Ermupoli·

There is no route linework associated with the distance figure XXIIII, and no sign of where the stretch starts. If the figure is meant as the distance by river from unnamed symbol #56, that certainly is not made clear; and if the figure is so meant, then the resumption of route linework at Melcati for stretches that could likewise have been traversed by river becomes a further puzzle.
