[Kommentar (BH):
Welser liest "SINVS NICOMEDICVS"]

Kommentar (Talbert):
"S" (presumably the initial letter of the name ?) below island #90 is not in doubt, but all else remains uncertain. There are three widely spaced fragments of lettering which can be read as "I", "C" and "V", but it is unclear whether they are in fact complete such letters, or only pieces of others.

Pleiades:
Str. (Meineke: Perseus) 12.4.2

Miller, Itineraria, Sp. 954:
Sinvs Nicomedicvs (So Bt, Bg, Ve); S...i... (Dj), S....
