Die in der Maeotis gelegene Insel ist mit dem als Dromos Achilleos bezeichneten Platz gleichzusetzen, also mit der in der in der antiken Literatur als Leuke bezeichneten Insel vor der Borythenes-Mündung, vgl. z.B.
