A smaller island below in 6C3 is marked with the same name (#64). It is impossible to say whether this duplication represents an oversight on the part of the mapmaker, or of a later copyist. If the latter, then whatever name the smaller island had originally, if any, is beyond recovery. The same issue applies to Ins. Sasonis (6A2 and 6B3), where the lower island (#62) happens to be larger than the other of the two so named (#51).

NS. cephalania (Falsch Cephalamia (Ve)), mit Tempel, it. (It ma), sonst Cephalonia und Cephalenia, fürher Same (Homer) oder Samos, vor dem Eingagn des Korinthischen Meerbusens, nur durch eine kleine Meerenge von Ithaka getrennt (nach Homer); sie enthilet im Süden den hohen Berg Aenus (Αἶνος - St, j. Elatovuno oder Montenegro) mit einem Tempel des Zeus (Jovis Ainesii templum: St). An der Stelle des Tempels ist j. Borgo. Außerdem hatte die Insel 4 Städte; j. Kefalonia.
