Welser und Scheyb lesen Hale und ebenso auch Talbert. Aktuell sind aber nur noch schwache Buchstabenreste hinter dem l zu erkennen. Talbert ist bei der Interpretation dieses Eintrags sehr zurückhaltend: Es könne sich sowohl um ein Toponym als auch um ein Ethnonym handeln (https://www.cambridge.org/us/talbert/talbertdatabase/TPPlace2819.html). |
